What are you doing for Earth Day?

It’s that time of year again to start gearing up for Earth Day events…. From garbage clean ups to invasive weedings…. to beautification projects… I find it encouraging when people come together. It’s been pretty amazing the past few years, participating in some little projects that uncovered some pretty big piles of trash!

It doesn’t really matter how small or big a project is. Every little bit helps. Often times I’ve noticed the really big parks and areas get the attention and the little parks and way spots are left untouched. I’d like to challenge everyone this year…. there is a place in your neighborhood that could use a little TLC. Plan an EARTHDAY event in your neighborhood. Even if it’s just your block!

Those of you that have small wooded areas near your home. Places you probably don’t usually go regularly. Take a peek and see if maybe the area is in need of a little clean up. Looks good from here ~ doesn’t nessasarily mean it looks so good just past that tree!

Here in our neighborhood the community gets involved.

Do you have an upcoming event? Tell us what your doing for EARTHDAY?
